Roxie Dabel Bird
Roxie Dabel Bird, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Roxie was known for her beauty and love of dancing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Marcell Bird; and her siblings, Gary Dabel, Peggy Dabel, and Kim Dabel.
She is survived by her siblings, Terry Dabel, Joy Peterson, and Lori Stratton. Her four children, Raymond Robert Bird, Russell D. Bird, Alan Walker Bird, and Jan Irene Bird Hawkes; eight grandchildren, Shanna Kelley, Casey Bird, Tyler Bird, Trevor Bird, Cass Bird, Jeremy Cunningham, Dustin Burrows, Alex Anderson; nine great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; who will carry on her legacy.
In accordance with her wishes, Roxie will be cremated and laid to rest beside Marcell Bird.
Graveside services will be held at the Mendon Cemetery, 95 North Main Street, Mendon, UT 84325 on June 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Services under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Layton.
