BRETT CARL CORDINGLY

MAY 29,1963 — FEBUARY 27,2025
Brett Carl Cordingly was my Soulmate, my Best Friend my Everything, words can’t describe how my Soul and Heart is Crushed. Brett was a man of extraordinary skill, dedication and willing to help anyone out when needed, that is why he was loved by so many people, not to mention his unique personality, he always had a nickname for people he would meet or a rhyme about them.
Born in Ogden Utah, to Barbara and Don Cordingly, he grew up with a passion for working with his hands and a love for the outdoor either Hunting, riding in his Jeep out in the desert or Rock Hounding. He graduated from Roy High School and attended welding trade school eventually working for Western Zirconium/Westinghouse Ogden Utah for 22 yrs ,gaining specialized skills in welding, equipment maintenance and pump systems. After Western Zirconium Brett decided he would use his knowledge and Start his own business Cordingly Pump & Irrigation installing Domestic water pumps for houses or Irrigation Pumps for Ranchers and Farmers, later Brett also would become a T-L Irrigation Pivot Dealer installing Watering Pivot Systems in Idaho, Utah Wyoming. Brett also became very knowledgeable in Solar watering Systems which he installed many for the Ranchers and Farmers.
On November 4th, 2005, Brett married his soulmate and best friend Heather J. (Swain) Cordingly, in Malad Idaho. Together they built a successful business and a life filled with shared adventures, whether installing water pumps, exploring Nascar, Rock Hounding in the mountains or the desert, or just taking the Jeep out for an adventure ride, they embraced every moment as a team.
Brett’s talents knew no bounds. A licensed general Contractor, Licensed Electrical and Plumping specializing in Water Pumps and New home installations, later selling business and moving to Quartzsite Arizona where he used his Welding Skills building Steel entrance Gates and making specialized tools for different applications.
Brett also had a deep love for animals where he would train Cutting and Reining horses with his dad. Brett had many animals but every cat Brett had owned since he was young he named “Roy”. Brett had lost the 2 Pomeranians that we had for 17 and 18 yrs it broke Brett’s heart, we would decide we had a void for an animal so just 2 1/2 yrs ago Brett picked a puppy he wanted and he would be named Rebel, the 2 of them would travel around town together with Rebel becoming very well known, next came Baby Bear 1 1/2yrs which was Daddy’s girl and Heather being the mean Babysitter.
