Mary Naomi Cottrell
Mary Naomi Cottrell, passed away on May 1, 2025. She was born on November 23, 1949, in Ogden, Utah, to Charles and Elizabeth Millspaw. On August 13, 1969, Mary was sealed to Dale R. Cottrell, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised seven children: Keri (David) Bateman, Natalie (Brandon) Smith, Andy (Amy) Cottrell, David (Krista) Cottrell, Ryan (Sabrina) Cottrell, Tina (Spencer) Crookston, and Erika Cottrell.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her son David Cottrell, her brother Bruce Millspaw, her sister Diane Millspaw, and her granddaughter Jacie Cottrell. She is survived by her husband Dale, her sister Suzanne Griffin, her brother Brent Millspaw, her children, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A service to honor Mary’s life will be held on May 8, 2025, at 10 AM at the Clearfield Utah Stake Center, located at 935 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, 84015. Interment will follow immediately at Clearfield City Cemetery, located at 1050 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, 84015.
