Anne Michelle Abercrombie-Wempe

Anne Michelle Abercrombie-Wempe, known to us simply as Anne, was born on May 9, 1967, in Ogden, UT. An embodiment of compassion, humor, and intelligence, she lit up the lives of everyone she met. Her infectious laughter and warm hugs are memories we will all treasure. Anne had a unique knack for turning mundane moments into memorable ones, infusing every situation with her fun-loving spirit.
Anne graduated from Roy High and went on to work at the IRS in Ogden, Utah, as a Tax Advocate. She was known for her smart and diligent approach to work. Her colleagues often marveled at her ability to navigate complex tax matters with ease and efficiency. She retired in 2023, after a fulfilling career that spanned several decades. Her retirement years were spent in Hooper, Utah, where she had resided for 25 years. Yet, she was never one to shy away from adventure and new experiences.
In her leisure time, Anne loved nothing more than being with her family. Whether it was going to games, watching movies, or cheering on her grandchildren at their events, family was at the heart of everything she did. Her love and commitment to her family were evident in her every action, a testament to her loving nature. As Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” This quote resonated deeply with Anne, who believed that love was the most powerful force in the universe.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Samantha Robertson, and her son, Matthew Wilson. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Flora Wilson, Jp Ogden, Makena Milavong, and Alizea Milavong. She will be dearly missed not only by her immediate family but also by her son-in-law, Jacob Robertson, and her daughter-in-law, Kate Wilson.
