Corine Ona Hamblin Kindall

May 12, 2025

Corine Ona Hamblin Kindall, age 50, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on May 8, 2025, after a valiant battle with many health challenges. Though her life was filled with trials, she met each one with unwavering strength, love, and resilience.

Born on September 5, 1974, at McKay-Dee Hospital, Corine was the beloved daughter of Marilyn Marie and Royal Lynn Hamblin. As the middle child, she often joked about having “middle child syndrome,” but her heart was anything but in the middle–she gave it fully to everyone she loved.

A graduate of Clearfield High School, Class of 1992, Corine married her high school sweetheart, Joshua Moore Kindall, on November 5, 1993. Their love story spanned more than 31 beautiful years. Together, they built a loving family and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Utah Temple on August 7, 2002.

Corine was a devoted mother to Caitlynn, Joshua James (J.J.), and Jeramiah. Her greatest joy came from being a mom, and later, a grandmother–lovingly known as “Papa” by her grandchildren Abigail and Jack. Her family was her world, and she always placed their needs above her own.

Throughout her life, Corine earned several healthcare certifications and never stopped working to better herself. She was a skilled crocheter, able to master any pattern or even create her own. She loved being outdoors, especially camping with her family, and was also a proud hobby chicken farmer.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Corine served in numerous callings over the years. She was a true friend to all, always the first to offer a homemade meal or a helping hand in times of need. Her compassionate service touched countless lives. Over the years, Corine crocheted numerous baby blankets for ward members, many of which have been kept and used to this day.

Corine is survived by her mother, Marilyn Hamblin; husband, Joshua; children Caitlynn (Josh) Cowles, Joshua James (Jewell Tovar) Kindall; siblings, Cody (Collin) Steadman, Richard “Corky” (Hailey) Hamblin; grandchildren Abigail and Jack Cowles and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Corine looked forward to being reunited with her father, brother Casey, and precious son Jeramiah, who recently passed away. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be missed beyond measure.
