1942 – 2025

Flora Marzell Burke Andrew, age 82, beloved figure of North Ogden, Utah, sadly left our world on May 10, 2025, after a life richly lived in service, kindness, and dedication to her family and church.

She was born June 30, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a daughter of Floyd and Bertha Burke. She grew up in Iona, Idaho as a very happy child with her siblings: Garry (deceased), Kent (deceased), Deloss (deceased), Jackie (surviving). She has cherished memories riding her favorite companion, a beautiful horse named Topper. She attended Iona Elementary through eighth grade and later graduated from Bonneville High School in Iona, Idaho. She continued her education at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and onto Utah State where she graduated with a degree in Secondary Education. It was during this time that she met her husband, Doyle. After finishing school Flora and Doyle were married on June 30, 1967, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Soon after they were married, they started a family, raising them in North Ogden, Utah.

Flora is survived by: Doyle Andrew (Husband), children Charee Nishijima, Ryan/Allison Andrew, Jodi Andrew, Mandy Andrew Marsden, Tauni/Derek Rhoades. Grandchildren: Damien Nishijima, Ashton/Jett Sollis, Brock Andrew, Beau Andrew, Alexandrea Herrera, Oakley Mumford, Mylie Marsden, Matthew Marsden, Mason Marsden, Lydia Rhoades, Sophie Rhoades, and Stratton Rhoades. Great grandchildren: Kayson Christiansen and Jordi Sollis.

Flora served in numerous church callings, Cub Scouts, Cannery Co-chair, Young Women’s, and adult softball coordinator. She enjoyed every kind of sport you could think of, but her love was golf, bowling and collecting numerous cats and dogs. She was an excellent assistant in the running of the recreational program alongside her husband.

She was known for her spunky personality that left many laughing throughout her journey on this earth and was marked with love, compassion, and faith on God. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and especially grandmother.

Her passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends and those that she touched or those that had the pleasure of knowing her. You will be greatly missed!!!!
