Josephine Ann Marble

Hooper -JoAnn Marble, 86, passed away at Legacy House of Park Lane on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, having experienced a brain tumor.
JoAnn was born in Paducah, Kentucky, to Andrew Fletcher and Mae Irene Hill Durden. She lived in many cities all over the southern states. She graduated from Elizabethtown High School in Kentucky, and then attended the University of Georgia.
JoAnn married Stephen Grant Marble on August 4, 1959, and lived in South Carolina, Georgia, California, and Utah.
JoAnn worked as a clerk at Cora Mart in Coronado, a switchboard operator at both the Hotel Del Coronado, and at Hill Air Force Base, then as an electroplating technician, and physical science technician, at Hill Air Force Base.
JoAnn loved reading, cruising, playing cards, gardening, cake decorating, sewing, crocheting, cooking, chocolate, going out to eat with her friends, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve, and by her son, Russell (Stacy) Marble.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenna (John) West, and Ann (Paul) Allred, her brother, Jimmy (Trisha) Durden, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the Shannondoah Ward Chapel, 5375 S 5900 W Hooper, UT on Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m.
The family will greet friends at this address on Friday, Oct. 24, 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment Saturday in Hooper Cemetery, and Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary, Roy.
