Allen Walton returned to his Heavenly home, August 28, 2025, at the age of 85. Al lived an amazing life filled with family, faith and love. He was born June 28, 1940, in Auburn, Wyoming, the son of Everett James and Lora Ann Lemberg Walton. He was raised in Auburn, Wyoming, where he grew up on a farm (which is where he developed his great work ethic). He then moved to Murray, Utah in his teens.

Al married Thelma Kay Farley at the age of 18. They had three children together, Janis Ann Walton, Charlotte E. Conklin, and Allen Shane Walton.

In 1982, he married Bernice Roberta Lopez. They had two children together, Tyler Everett Walton, and Chase Aaron Walton.

In 2017, he married Janna Lund. They loved family time and their dogs.

Allen was a man of many careers. He was a farmer, truck driver for Kennecott and Condies’ Candies, and a truck owner. He also owned and operated a service station called 5 Points, in Bountiful, Utah. He then started his very successful career in the car business where he worked at Peterson Motors, Westland Ford, Executive Auto and then opened his own dealership called Al Walton Sales. He later sold his business and returned to Westland Ford, where he retired from his career. Al made many long-lasting relationships because of his success in the car business.

Survived by his children, Janis Ann Walton, Charlotte E. (Roger) Conklin, Allen Shane (Sue) Walton, Tyler Everett (Maria) Walton, and Chase Aaron (Victoria) Walton; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and his twin sister, Ellen Moyes. Preceded in death by his grandchild, Beau Walton; parents; and seven siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Mountain Green Cemetery.
