Connis Klea Hocking Nixon, age 96, died peacefully, September 7, 2025, at her home of causes incident to age.

She was born June 15, 1929, in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Ivan Leslie and Edna Mae Harris Hocking.

On July 21, 1950, she married Claude Nixon in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They resided in Pocatello, Idaho until 1954. They then moved to Ogden.

She was a member of the LDS church.

She retired from Hill AFB in 1988 after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her two sons, Kerry, Roy; Tom (Terri) Grand Junction, Colorado; daughter Sheri Wirth (Walt) Plain City, one brother Lowell, Boise, Idaho, eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Claude, daughter Connie Roma (John) and brother Robert Hocking.

Connis donated her body to the University of Utah School of Medicine. At her request, and respecting her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

A private scattering of ashes will be held by the family at a later date.
