Carol Kilpatrick Proctor
I lost my love today! My wife Carol Kilpatrick Proctor passed away March 26, 2026 sleeping by my side as she has for almost 70 years!
Carol was born in Salt Lake City to George R. and Melva Jones Kilpatrick on August 31, 1936. She married Jerry V. Proctor on June 18, 1956 in Salt Lake City.
Carol and Jerry had two beautiful children, daughter, Annette Proctor; and son, Scott Proctor.
Carol loved children (especially babies), animals, her mountains and family get-togethers on special occasions or warm summer days. Carol volunteered for CASA (child advocate on court domestic violence cases). She also volunteered with the Weber County Sheriff’s Department on domestic violence calls (often in the middle of the night). She loved riding the Harley with the Klunker Motorcycle Klub and boating at Pineview Reservoir and Bear Lake. She enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and playing board games.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry V. Proctor; daughter, Annette Stricklin; son, Scott J. Proctor; six grandchildren, Jennifer Lyman, Travis Wells, Taylor Proctor, Jordan Proctor, Rhianon Hopes, Orian Petersen; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Glenda Seelos and Janet Fitzgerald.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George R. and Melva Kilpatrick; father and mother-in-law, Vout D. and Ida Proctor; and niece Gayle Seelos.
