Chase Russell Stoker

Apr 17, 2026

Chase Russell Stoker passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 40, after a courageous eight-year battle with brain and lung cancer.

Chase was born on November 26, 1985 to Lyman and Cheryl (Russell) Stoker and lived a life defined by stubbornness, love, hard work, and devotion to his family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Weber High School in 2004. Following high school, he served an LDS mission in Chicago.

Chase met the love of his life, Kamille (Kendrick), and they were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on April 24, 2008. Together, they built a beautiful life, settled in Roy Utah and were blessed with four children: Owen, Kip, Olivia, and Rhett, who were the center of his world.

He made his living as a semi-truck driver, a role he took great pride in as he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Chase had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time with his wife and children visiting the trabin(stoker cabin), riding dirt bikes, visiting the sand dunes, and riding faster than the wind. He was rarely seen without a Mountain Dew in his hand and was always quick to offer one to anyone nearby, especially kids whose parents had said no, flashing that grin as he did. It was a small but telling example of his generous, playful spirit.

Chase will be remembered for his strength, his humor and laugh, and the deep love he had for those around him. He was a true gentleman until the end walking the ladies out to their car after every visit. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kamille; his children Owen, Kip, Olivia, and Rhett; his parents; his siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by many who loved him, but it was his Grandma Russell, who his family knows was there to welcome him home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. Located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pheasant Run ward house 5080 s 3100 w Roy, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lindquist Mortuary 3333 w 5600 s Roy, Utah and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the churchhouse. Interment will take place at the cemetery in Hooper.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stinnett for the love and care given to Chase over the past eight years. A special thanks to his hospice nurses Marcie and Yaya for their dedicated care. They also express deep gratitude to all who supported Chase and showed such kindness and compassion to him and his family.
