Rosemary Newman Jeppsen
March 18, 1952 – April 22, 2026
It is with broken hearts, but tender memories, that we celebrate the life of Rosemary Newman Jeppsen, who passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. Born in Brigham City, Utah, on March 18, 1952, to Charles Cecil Newman and Wanda Elva Anderson Newman. As a child raised in Bothwell and a lifelong resident of Box Elder County, Rosemary’s life and character were deeply interwoven with the community and people she loved.
Rosemary was an exceptional woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader; she had a unique love for ironing and laundry. She loved going out to lunch with her friends. When her husband passed, the things she missed most were browsing shops and going for drives together.
Rosemary had a talent for striking up conversations effortlessly. Her ability to see the good in people, her nonjudgmental nature, and her genuine care for others were qualities that left deep imprints on everyone she met.
She married V. Reid Jeppsen on December 27, 1974, in Bothwell, Utah. They met at Thiokol where she was a secretary. She was known for her impressive typing and shorthand skills. As a homemaker, Rosemary created a home that was not just a house, but a haven of love, warmth, and care.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her contributions to the church included being on the compassionate service committee which included funeral lunches, and her involvement in the visiting teaching and ministering programs.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Nicole Jeppsen, and step-children Pam Pontius (Clifton), Candace Leishman (Kim) David Jeppsen (Debbie); her siblings Merrilee Crozier (Kit), Charles Newman and Joel Newman (Cathy); her 14 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
