Glennda married the love of her life, Blair Taylor on October 9, 1970! Together they raised 3 beautiful children, Shayne, Kerrie and Christy in Plain City, Utah.

Glennda was a beacon of love, strength, and genuine kindness. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special and loved! Her infectious laughter and warm heart will be deeply missed.

Mom had a great love of her Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

Glennda loved her family fiercely! Her world fully revolved around Blair, her children and her amazing grandchildren! We never left her without hearing the words, “I Love You to the Moon and Back!”

Glennda also had a love for hiking, camping, and traveling with her family as well as spontaneous trips that involved Disney! You would often see her walking with her best friend and sister-in-law, Julie every morning! Movies, sweet treats at Zeppe’s, and fun trips to Paris, ID with girlfriends, Lola, Betty, and Chris were on her list of favorite things to do!

Glennda participated in the Festival of Trees for 27 years and enjoyed putting together a tree in honor of her son Shayne, and his fallen Air Med Crew! Many hours were spent with her daughters, grandchildren, her mother, sisters and extended family bonding together and building closer friendships with one another!

She is survived by her husband, Grant Blair Taylor; her 2 daughters, Kerrie (Mike) Wellman of Roy, UT, and Christy (Jason Cevering) Taylor of ID Falls, ID. Her 11 grandchildren, Breanne Carnahan, Parker Carnahan, Kaitlynn (Jason) Brown, Preston (Brinley) Melle, Jadden Cevering, Baylie (Jace) Allen, Emily Carnahan, Shaylie Summers, Hunter Summers, Tyler Summers, and Avery Andrews; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her siblings, LaRae (Jim) Larsen, Larry (Pat) Fikstad, Geraldine (Frank) O-Farrell, Cindy (Dan) Holbrook, Jill (Steve) Lamb, Glenn (Janae) Fikstad, and Sherrie (Sean) Tutarow.

She is preceded in death by her son, Shayne Carnahan, her parents, her sister, Jean Morgan, and her in-laws, Grant and Louise Taylor. She also leaves behind countless friends, family members, and loved ones who will remember her for her generosity, kindness, and enduring spirit.

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah from 6-8 p.m. Glennda’s graveside service will be on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Plain City Cemetery, 4373 W. 1975 N, Plain City, Utah at 10 a.m.
