Lynda May Williamson Bailey

Aug 7, 2026

Lynda May Williamson Bailey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026.

Lynda was born on May 9, 1951, in Montebello, California, to Dorothy May Atwood and Gene Roger Williamson. On April 28, 1970, she was sealed for time and all eternity to her beloved husband and eternal companion, Tommy Lee Bailey, in the Los Angeles California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they were blessed with five children and built a home centered on faith, love, and family.

Lynda enjoyed a rewarding 37-year career as a registered nurse, compassionately caring for countless patients throughout her professional life. She and Tommy raised their family in California, then Oregon, and finally settling in Utah, creating lasting memories wherever they lived.

Above all else, Lynda loved her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow and sharing in their lives.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lynda faithfully served in many callings throughout her life. Her testimony of Jesus Christ and her deep love for her family were the foundation of everything she did.

Lynda is survived by her children: Kelly (Philip) Oliver, Becky (Rich) Juluson, Aaron (Stephanie) Bailey, Sean (Tiffani) Bailey, and Amanda Beraz; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Brenda (Dave) Richardson, Janelle Williamson, Rob Schrader, Lyndel Bailey, Jerry (Marilyn) Bailey, Dan McGehee, and Karin Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Lee Bailey; her parents, Dorothy May Atwood and Gene Roger Williamson; and her sisters, Joy and Dawn.
