Susan was born on September 2,1944, in Norfolk Virginia, to Thane and Mattie Koford. She grew up in Utah, went to school in the Ogden area, and worked at Fresenus Medical Center for over 30 years.

She married Joe “Tasho” Espinosa on 2 June 1964, together they welcomed two lovely daughters, Kris and Teresa (Ses).

Susan will be remembered for her quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor, aversion to having her picture taken, mostly for her love of reading and above all else the joy she found in rising and spoiling her grand and great grandbabies.

Susan is survived by her siblings Diane (Ed) Duran and Tony Koford her two daughters Kris (Tim) Blakeman and Ses Espinosa, grandchildren, Keysha Espinosa, Danielle (Lindee)Blakeman, Travis Johnson and great-grandsons Jaxtyn, Bowdee, Grayson and Loki. She was proceeded in death by both her mother, father and grandson Justin Blakeman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on 30 August from 12-4pm at Pepperwood Assisted Living Center located at 1404 N 2000 W, Clinton, UT 84015
