Nola (Schenck) Wood
Nola Schenck Wood passed away on February 6, 2026, and joined her sweetheart Lee J for the next adventure. She was born May 16, 1940, to Oscar Lyman and Fern Layton Schenck and grew up in Clearfield and was a proud graduate of Davis High.
She married Lee J Wood on Oct 12, 1959, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. They are the parents of 5. Connie (Floyd) Fuller, J Lee “Gus” Wood, Paul (Teresa) Wood, Pam (Mark) Thompson, Joel (Laura) Wood. Their posterity also includes 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Mom retired as Chief of the Command Support Office at DPRO Thiokol.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 5 siblings Carma Frazier, Dee Schenck, Rex Schenck, and Kim Schenck. Nola is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brother Gary Schenck.
There will be a viewing on Feb 14, 2026, from 10:30-11:45 A.M. A celebration of life following at 12:00.
Both services will be held at the Tremonton West Stake Center at 345 S 1000 W Tremonton.
