Kimberly Ann Roe

May 14, 1956 – February 2, 2026
(Ogden, Utah) Kimberly Ann Roe, a beloved mother, sister, daughter and friend, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026 at the age of 69.
Kim was born in Rome, New York, on May 14, 1956 to David and Carol Korzep. Because her father was in the United States Air Force, Kim and her brother Dave lived their early years in many far-flung places, including Ohio, Texas, Florida, England, and Germany.
Her family settled in Utah and this is where she married and raised her two children, Alan and Maddy. As a mother, she became our first best friend. We were a tight unit and every day we tried hard to make each other laugh.
Kim worked her entire career, almost five decades, in newspapers; first at the Hilltop Times, and later for the Standard Examiner. Kim used her creative skills as a graphic designer in the advertising department. All her accounts loved her work. And the sales reps could always count on her work. She finished her career as a customer service rep. Her kindness and caring attitude helped many customers.
Kim was an incredible friend and surrounded herself with those just like her: tenderhearted and caring and dedicated her time to uplifting those in her church community, her neighbors and friends.
Kim was best known at Glory to God Catholic Church as Sister Ann. She took her vows there as a Benedictine nun 10 years ago. She was one of the dearest souls the church has ever met, she was someone anyone could talk to feel heard. She taught catechism, worked in the church office, was sacristan, sang in the choir, served at the altar, was a frequent lector who brought to life the scriptures with her talent for reading aloud, she did so many things at the church the list is endless. All at Glory to God Church will miss her greatly.
To everyone who came to watch over and visit her in her final days, thank you. Know that she cherished her friends and community deeply.
If you would like some ideas for honoring Kim’s memory, consider some of these: Bake some cookies with your family, especially chocolate chip or Polish Kolachky cookies. On a cold spring day, make potato and leek soup. Pet every animal you can and befriend your local crows. Visit Glory to God Holy Catholic Church on Harrison Blvd. Reach out to the tenderhearted in your community. Take care of each other.
If you’d like to join us in celebrating Kim’s life, service will be held February 14, 2026 at 11:00am at Glory to God Catholic Church, 375 Harrison Blvd., Ogden, UT. This will be followed by a pot luck brunch in the hall adjacent to the church. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Humane Society of Utah.
