Carole Johnson Erickson
After a long and beautiful life, Carole Johnson Erickson, 96 years young, died peacefully on February 11, 2026 in Haven Creek Care Center, surrounded by her family.
Carole was born in McCornick, UT on the 23rd of December 1929 to Evan Alden Johnson and Jean Stephenson Johnson. She was the youngest of 4 children (Blanche, William (Bill), and Eddis May).
She soon moved to Delta, Utah, where she was raised. She met her husband Stanley Erickson as a child and later dated him in High School. Later they married in the Salt Lake Temple in August 1948.
She graduated from Delta High School and attended several colleges.
She had four children (Michael, Laura, John, and David) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked from childhood until her retirement at age 58, spending 25 years at Hill AFB.
After Delta she lived in Provo, then Washington Terrace settling in Sunset, UT.
She was an accomplished artist with paintings on friends’ walls all over the world. She also loved music and played for many wards as the ward organist (40+ years) and a special piano accompanist.
She and her husband served as missionaries in the Munich, Germany, mission (early 1990s). Stanley served as a Bishop of the Sunset 4th Ward.
Later she enjoyed traveling all over the world with her siblings and husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, parents, all her siblings, son John, daughter-in-law Deborah, and some grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and prior to the services 9:30 am to 10:45 am, at Myers Mortuary (5865 S 1900 W Roy, Utah).
