As a loving husband, dedicated father, and doting grandfather, Thomas stood as a reliable pillar in his family and community. He was a man of faith and served diligently in several positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating from Weber High School in 1959, he went on to serve six years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve. Thomas’ love for baseball led him to affiliate with the L.A. Dodgers for one season in 1960, after which he became a smoke jumper for the Forest Service. He then built a successful 42-year career as an Architectural Representative. Even after his retirement, Thomas’ restless spirit led him to a second career driving Special Education School buses. His funny and lively nature made him a favorite among the children he transported.

In 1967, Thomas married the love of his life, Jacqueline, and together they raised three sons – Thomas Jr., Travis, and Trever. He was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Magee.
