Bonnie Kay (Evans) Waikart
Bonnie Kay (Evans) Waikart, 87, of Ogden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was born November 28, 1938, in Elko, Nevada, to Mildred and Thomas Evans.
Bonnie graduated from Weber High School and later worked at Wolfers Clothing Store, where her love of fashion shined. She devoted her life to her family and was a talented artist who loved painting, reading, music, and creating beautiful flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Lou Waikart; her children, Keith Draney, Karen Erickson, Kim Danziger, and Lisa (Eric) Shields; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sandy (Terry) Robinson.
The family thanks the staff of Hidden Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care and Symbii Home Health for their compassionate care.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. A graveside service will be held at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, at 11:00 a.m.
