She attended Ogden City school and graduated in 1962 from Bonneville High School. She went on to Weber State College, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in theology, sociology, and psychology. She was known as Char or Lottie to many of her friends and work associates. She retired from both the U.S. Government and the State of Utah. She was employed at the Defense Depot Ogden, Internal Revenue Service, Hill Air Force Base, Department of Army, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Privately, she worked for Continental Baking Company, The School for the Deaf and Blind, Weber State University, Danville Corporation, and Weber Human Services. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beverly Stone; brothers Randy and Jay Stone. She took pride in our community and enjoyed helping anyone navigate the complexities of life. Her intellectual side was stunning to most. She was an avid reader of theology, philosophy, and politics. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She found pleasure getting around town and keeping a well-cared for yard. After officially retiring, she thoroughly enjoyed True Crime programs and her best dog friends Valentine, Blue Moon, Silver, and Cooper. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lantern House Rescue Mission, Ogden Rescue Mission, or the American Humane Society.
