Carol Clark Hansen
February 26, 1935 – January 5, 2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carol Clark Hansen, who left us on January 5, 2026. Born in Logan, Utah on February 26, 1935, Carol lived a fulfilling life, devoted to her family and music. She resided in Mantua, Utah, where she made her home and raised her family.
She married the love of her life, Willard Doyle Hansen, on November 13, 1953, and together they shared 73 years of marriage until his passing on July 29, 2017. They created a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She was most proud to be a mother and grandmother. Being with her family to create memories and share her life with them was the most important thing to her.
Carol was an accomplished pianist, who not only found joy in playing but also in teaching others. She spent many hours teaching piano lessons, touching countless lives with her gift of music.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Stake Relief Society as the President. Her other callings included the Ward Organist, Choir Pianist, and a member of the Mantua Ladies Quartet. Carol’s love for helping others was also evident in her role as a volunteer for Brigham City Community Hospital for many years. She enjoyed her visits and associating with her Avon clients.
Outside of her dedication to her family and music, Carol had a variety of hobbies that brought her much joy. She was a golfer and a gardener, and she always looked forward to her Rook Club. Carol’s life was an inspiring testament to a life lived with passion, dedication, and love. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She is survived by her children, Steven D. Hansen (Debbie), Larry C. Hansen (Kris) David L. Hansen (Laurie), Jill H. Nelson (Doug) and Eric C. Hansen (Melissa), her brother-in-law Terry Barnard and her sister-in-law Arlene Clark and 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle, her parents, George Hughe & Zella Hoskin Clark, and her siblings, Lila Rae Jones (Bill), Dean Clark (Norma), Rulon Clark (Lola),
Calvin Clark, Linda Barnard and daughter-in-law, Cindy Hansen.
The family would like to express their thanks to Mandi Harward and Staff at Beehive Homes of Perry, Rachel Wood from Bristol Hospice and the rest of the hospice team for the love and care they provided to Carol.
