Francine Cecil Owens Beach, born November 21, 1938, passed away December 15, 2025 peacefully in Bountiful Utah. Francine was born in Ogden and attended Ogden high school. She met and married Ron Nylander in Ogden where they had their two children, Berit and Joel. After they divorced, Fran moved all over the world: California, Sun Valley, Randolph, Maui, Puerta Vallarta, and Naples, Florida. She lived her life to the fullest, traveling and sailing to lots of places. From the beaches of California to the gulf coast of Florida, and many places in between, she had an exciting life. She traveled the world and she also worked as a beautician. She moved to Naples, Florida in the mid 90s, where she met and married Raleigh Beach on New Years Eve in 1998. They lived in Naples, Florida with their cats and survived several hurricanes there. Francine was involved in the local theater in Naples and was part of the technical crew. She and Raleigh could often be found at the local Chiki bar visiting with their many friends. They loved to travel, coming to Utah and California to see their children and grandchildren often. When Raleigh passed away In January 2025, we moved Francine back to Utah so she could be surrounded by her family and visit with them. We were lucky enough to have her back in Utah for 10 ½ months. We had many dinners out, visits with the cats and just hanging out, watching her favorite shows Dateline or 20/20 at the Legacy care center. The staff at Legacy was so loving and helpful to Fran. She was very popular with her fellow residents, naturally. This year we had Thanksgiving dinner together and attended a Christmas program with her. It was so fun to spend several holidays throughout the past year with her: Easter egg hunt, summer Luau, Halloween parade and trick or treating. We would get her and attend the many events at Legacy Care center. She loved nothing more than the visits from her children and 2 grandkids to whom she will always be Mimi. We want to say thank you to the Inspiration Hospice team, especially the two Ashleys for taking such good care of Fran for the last year while she was here with us. She is preceded in death by her parents Mabel & Clifford Owens, her husband, Raleigh Beach, her brother, Riley Owens, her sister Flo Ann Owens, her granddaughter Mandy Allen and her nephew James Owens. She is survived by her brothers Tom, Doug and Jimmy Owens; her children Berit Allen and Joel (Michelle) Nylander and grandchildren Grant, Ella and Morgan. At her request we will not have a funeral service, we will hold a Celebration of Life on January 23 from 6-9pm at The Union Grill in Ogden. We invite all friends and family to attend.
