Jan 19, 2026

1962-2026

Linda Kay Endo, 63, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at CommonSpirit Holy Cross Hospital following a lingering illness.

She was born July 20, 1962, in Ogden, younger daughter of Masao and Haruye Endo. Educated in Davis County Schools, she graduated from Clearfield High School in 1980. She graduated from Weber State University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, then earned a second degree in Logistics while employed at Hill Air Force Base as an Inventory Management Specialist for 30 plus years.

Linda was a member of the Buddhist Church of Ogden. She was a Brownie Girl Scout at the Clearfield Community Church and a Junior Girl Scout at the Buddhist Church of Ogden. Linda was also a member of the Buddhist Church of Ogden Taiko Group. She loved to travel, taking a trip to Japan with her Mom and Dad, going to the New England area for fall foliage, to Washington D.C. during cherry blossom season, to the Oregon coast, and to Hawaii, amongst many other places.

Linda loved the Utah Jazz and was a devoted, lifelong fan. She watched every game, whether courtside or from the comfort of home–and shared this passion most meaningfully with her dad. Together, they were proud season ticket holders, treasuring not only the games but the many special moments and memories created through their shared love of the team. Linda also formed a special bond with her Jazz representative, Troy O., whose kindness, and generosity meant so much to her, especially as her illness progressed. The family extends their sincere gratitude to him.

Linda also cherished her biannual gatherings with her beloved “1980 Girl Squad,” a group of eleven high school friends who remained steadfast through decades of laughter, support, and celebrations together. Thank you for your continued love and friendship, it meant the world to Linda.

Surviving is her sister, Gaylene (Mark) Koehn of Montgomery, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Masao and Haruye Endo, grandparents Kaihei and Moju Kosaiku, and Matsuzo and Yone Endo. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends both in Utah and out-of-state.

A special thank you to all of the many friends who helped Linda during her illness, especially Christy Baldwin and Kris Yamada. Her family knows that she appreciated you all.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden Buddhist Temple, 155 North Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit the family prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the temple.
