Apollo Beach — Calvin Ross Adams, age 88, current resident of Apollo Beach Florida and resident of Roy, Utah for 30 years passed away on 16 Jan, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Florence Ortscheidt Adams Larkin in Glenhaven, Wisconsin, Calvin built a life defined by devotion, physical and moral courage, and an enduring spirit of adventure.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Geraldine; his eldest son, Timothy Adams (Lisa), 65; and his twin sons (and their wives), Christopher (Irina) and Dennis (Tama) Adams, both 64. With his passing, Calvin reunites with his daughter Deborah Anne Adams who passed after a courageous fight with cancer in 2011. His family was the center of his world, and he poured his heart into being a steady, loving presence in their lives.

Calvin lived with a boundless curiosity for the world. He loved travel, sailing, and flying, always seeking new horizons and embracing new opportunities. Yet no matter how far he roamed professionally and privately, his greatest joy was always returning home to the people he cherished most, his beloved wife Gerry and their family.

A proud veteran, Calvin served 22 years in the United States Air Force, including wartime service. He was a dedicated volunteer in the Civil Air Patrol for many years, conducting numerous search and rescue missions. His dedication to his country and its values reflected the same steadfast character he brought to every part of his life.

Calvin will be remembered for his genuine warmth, his adventurous spirit, his effortless integrity, and his unwavering devotion to family. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared, the journeys he took, and the love he gave so freely. We miss you so much, Dad
