Deloris Pali Mifflin
Deloris Pali Mifflin passed away on January 17th, 2026 in Ogden, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 89. Deloris was born March 21st, 1936 in Tremonton, Utah to Elia Pali and Olga Veshi.
Deloris was raised in Elwood along with two sisters and one younger brother.
She graduated from Bear River High School. She worked several years at Hill AFB until retirement, and then as a lunch lady at Roy Elementary school. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
She married Daniel William Rees on November 2nd 1957.
He later passed away Nov 2nd, 1958. They were blessed with a son Daniel Glen Rees on December 9th, 1958.
On Aug 15th, 1964 Deloris married Terry R. Mifflin, and on July 25th, 1967 they had a daughter named Shauna May Mifflin. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful, Utah temple on January 31st, 2004. Shauna passed away on March 23rd, 2002.
Terry passed away September 26, 2017.
Deloris is survived by her son Daniel G. Rees, brother Paul Eli Pali, grandsons Terry (Melissa) Rees, Derek (Tammy) Rees and 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by grandson James Tracy Rees, sisters Mary (Darrell) Eliason, and Cleora (Frank) Rawlins.
A public viewing will be held Friday, January 23rd from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday the 24th at 10 a.m., at Premiere Funeral services in Roy, Utah. A graveside service will be held Saturday January 24th at 11 a.m. at Roy City cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to the visiting angels, Dr. Belcher and Dr. Janowski, and special thanks to the ICU staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center. The family would also like to thank her friend Karen and all the help she provided over the years.
Deloris was a devoted wife, an exceptional mother, and a beloved grandmother.
Her son Danny was the apple of her eye. He cared for her and remained by her side until the very end.
