Carol Lee Jensen
December 16, 1947 — January 19, 2026
Carol Lee Jensen, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 19, 2026.
Carol was born on December 16, 1947 in Tremonton, Utah at the Bear River Hospital to Homer LaVor Anderson and Lenore Evans.
After graduating Bear River High School in 1966, she soon married Lynn R. Jensen on September 2, 1966. She immediately entered the workforce at IRS where she made many lifelong friends. She retired after 38 years of dedicated service.
On August 10, 1975, Carol gave birth to Nicole Lynn. Carol would do anything for her daughter, son-in-law and her grandson. She loved them with all her heart and soul.
In early 1992 Carol and Lynn divorced. In September of 1992 she was set up on a blind lunch date with Blaine Hadley. From this point on they were inseparable for 27 years up until his passing in March 2020. After meeting Blaine, her love for horses was rekindled. Together they trained quarter horses whether it was for the Chariot Races held at the Weber County Fairgrounds, or horse racing at Wyoming Downs.
Carol was beautiful, fearless, courageous and tenacious. She will be missed dearly by daughter, Nicole (Scott) Lancaster, grandson, Harrison Lancaster, sister Beth Williams and her Schnauzer, Ruger. Carol is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved greatly.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dewayne and Jay, her half-sister Hilda Titensor and her precious grandson Samuel Robert Lancaster.
You would never see Carol without her hair, makeup, nails done and wearing her best jewelry. In Carol’s honor, please wear your best western wear.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the West Weber Cemetery, 4532 W. 950 N. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S.
