CHRIS STIMPSON

May 4, 1957 – January 20, 2026
Chris left this world the same way he entered it. Pure of heart, with a spirited curiosity and an innocent soul. Chris was the oldest of three children adopted by Jack and Shirley Stimpson. Always protective of his two little sisters, Sheri and Cozette, to his last day he never wavered from his big brother duties. Chris was always a perfect gentleman. He had an easy way about him, friendly and good natured. Anyone who took the time to get to know him found a loyal and caring friend. Chris loved going to the Raptors baseball games. He loved meeting new people, eating the food, and the free t-shirts. He loved going to concerts. Especially his favorite female country singers. But his absolute favorite thing to do was go to the theater. Any and all things theater. Chris has always been a positive person. Even when he was diagnosed with stage four cancer he was optimistic. He believed he would be that one guy who could beat it. Maybe he did. I think he has moved on to his next adventure. Wherever that may be, I hope he finds the love and happiness he deserves. This little sister will truly miss her big brother. But I’ll catch you on the flipside … Christ was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Shirley Stimpson, and sister Cozette Stimpson. Chris is survived by little sister Sheri Stimpson Barahona and honorary sister, Ronda Furlong. A special thanks goes out to all of the amazing people at hospice. Also thanks to the medical staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center, Monument Health in Brigham City, and Spring Gardens in North Ogden. Your kindness will never be forgotten. A viewing will be held Thursday January 29, 2026 at 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden Utah.
