Margaret Jane “Janie” Carpenter Wood
Margaret Jane Carpenter Wood was born July 28, 1954 in Torrance, California to Addison Bruce and Mary Louise Mee Carpenter. She died June 25, 2026 at her home in Roy, Utah.
She was a kind, gentle, and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cedar Crest Ward.
She is survived by her sons Michael Wood and James Wood, her sisters Winkie Scheinwald of Michigan and Linda Smithana of Roy, her nephew Cole Long of Roy, her niece Corie Long of Michigan and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Cindy Carpenter.
The viewing will be from 2:00 to 2:45 and the funeral will be at 3:00 Monday July 13th at the Cedar Crest Ward 3845 S 2000 W, Roy.
