Olive was devoted to serving others throughout her life. She led Cub Scout dens, shared her exceptional piano talents in hospitals and community settings, and spent years helping children learn to read at her great-grandchildren’s elementary school. As members of her family, we reaped the greatest rewards from her unwavering support, sharing and love. She was witty, charming, energetic, always on the go, and the perfect amount of spice to keep us on our toes. Olive loved tap dancing, exercising, lunches with friends, and spending time with those she loved. She was full throttle – whether behind the wheel or at life in general. She had a special gift for making everyone feel cherished, often insisting that each of us was her favorite. Above all, Olive treasured her family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by them.

Olive is survived by her son, Kirk (Leslie) Danzer; daughter-in-law, Michelle Brackus; four grandchildren: Kristin Cornell, Kelly Behling, Mitchell Brackus and Rachel Teran; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends whose lives she touched. We wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Kirk and Leslie (someone she considered to be more like her daughter) for many years of extraordinary and dedicated care.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her humor, generosity, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her. Ninety-nine years was not quite long enough with this delightful soul, but what a gift it was to have her influence for so long. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the countless lives she touched.
