Stephen Alan Robinson

Jun 8, 2026

Clinton, Utah – Stephen Alan Robinson died on May 29, 2026 after an extended illness. Steve was born February 29, 1956, and spent his youth in Corinne, Utah, with his mother Oleta Yagi, stepfather, Taro Yagi, his two brothers, and extended family. He attended Box Elder High School where he made life-long friends. After school, Steve enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington in the 9th Infantry Division. When Steve returned, he began a career at Hill Air Force Base, Utah as an aircraft mechanic, retiring in 2016. During his career, he had a temporary duty assignment in Okinawa where he learned how to scuba dive.

Steve’s greatest joy in later life came from spending time with his son, grandchildren, brothers, and nieces and nephews. He loved fishing and went every chance he could get; he golfed, taught himself to play the guitar, and loved to build a fire in the back yard fire pit during the evenings. His favorite meal was on the Japanese new year celebration each January 1st, which has been a family tradition for many years.

Steve leaves behind his son, Kasey (Miranda) Robinson of Clearfield, brothers Terry (Sandy) Robinson of West Haven, and Tommy (JaNae) Yagi of Eagle Mountain. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Blaise, Willow, Nova, and Illie. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather.

Rest in Peace Steve; your absence will be felt by your family and friends, but your spirit will live on in all of us.
