Juanita was born on November 4, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas, to Pete and Sarah Lovato. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, five brothers, one sister, and her cherished grandson, Xavier. Her legacy continues to thrive through her surviving family: her children, Vincent Lovato, Michelle Bernal, Monica (Preston) Bernal, Melinda Bernal, Jose Bernal, Isaac (Kristian) Lovato, and Anjelica Lovato along with her 14 great-grandchildren, who were the joys of her life.

In 1971, Juanita married Rudy G. Bernal. Their time together was tragically cut short, lasting only six years when Rudy passed away.

Juanita will be remembered for her vibrant personality and as a beacon of joy and love in the lives she touched.

A celebration of Juanita’s life will take place on Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
