Steve worked at various jobs in construction, manufacturing, and welding companies. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, rodeos, and family gatherings including BBQ’s and the company of numerous dogs throughout his life.

Steve married Denise Williams on June 7, 1979 in Taylor, Utah and had 47 wonderful years together.

Steve is survived by his wife, three daughters, Autum (Russ) Prescott, Tanya (Simon) Perez, Sarah Tyler-deceased) Blakeley and one son Steve (Danny Mace Mark, Jr., 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, Rick (Connie) Mark, Scott (Julie) Mark, Boyd Mark Jr., Debbie (Lenny) Guillion. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank Jessi, Jason, Gary, Kristen, Jill, Scott, and Josalyn at CNS Hospice for the care that was received in Steve’s final days.

Graveside services will be held Saturday June 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden, Utah. Family and friends may visit Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
