Kathleen Finch
Kathleen Finch, a compassionate soul known for her loving, supportive, and dedicated nature, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on February 28, 2026. Born September 2, 1931, in Roy, Utah, Kathleen lived a life filled with warmth, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family, whom she loved and constantly worried about.
Kathleen was a proud graduate of Weber High School and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on January 24, 1951 to Kenneth Finch. She was a dedicated homemaker with a lifelong love of singing. Kathleen’s hobbies reflected her love for life and the outdoors. She enjoyed traveling, camping with close friends, fishing, and had a special affinity for needlepoint and sewing. She cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Kathleen leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will be carried on by her children, Kathy (Greg) Mehan, K. David (Linda) Finch, Kristin Finch, her daughters in-law, Donna Finch and Starr Finch, and her ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Olson and Sandra Brown. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents W. Edward and Lillian Bingham, her beloved husband, Kenneth Finch, her sons K. Craig, Keith, and Kerry Finch, and her siblings Dale Bingham, Keith Bingham, Betty Steers, Jessie Nield, Jack Bingham, Donna Mosher, Dolores Tippetts, and Harland Bingham, and her grandson, Lyle.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah. We invite everyone who knew Kathleen to join us in celebrating her extraordinary life and faith.
