Neal Hansen
Neal Hansen passed away on the afternoon of February 25, 2026, at Hidden Valley Assisted Living Center due to complications related to congestive heart failure.
As a young man, Neal met and married his high school sweetheart, Gaylene. They shared many years together until her passing.
In earlier years, Neal was a member of the National Guard. He later retired from the IRS as a computer technician. He was an avid golfer who played in numerous tournaments and formed many lasting friendships. He also enjoyed skiing and made it a goal each season to carve fresh tracks on the mountain.
Neal coached his sons’ Little League teams and believed in hard work, discipline, and providing for his family. Following Gaylene’s passing, he spoke with his sons daily and valued those conversations.
Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Gaylene, and his daughter, Keri Lee. He is survived by his son Kirk Hansen and wife Jaymie; his son Greg Hansen; his grandchildren Dayne, Tori, and Dylan; and six great-grandchildren.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff at Hidden Valley Assisted Living for their compassionate care, patience, and kindness shown to Neal during his time there.
Funeral graveside services will be announced at a later time when all family members are able to gather.
Please join us in celebrating Neal’s remarkable life. We encourage all who knew him to share their memories, stories, and photographs on his memorial page at https://www.myers-mortuary.com/obituaries/neal-hansen
