Harold Thomas Udy
January 12, 1948 ~ March 5, 2026
Harold Thomas Udy passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on January 12, 1948, in Fielding, Utah, to Thomas Glenn and Madge Udy.
Harold resided in Brigham City, Utah. He married Sara Jane Keppler, and they were later divorced. He married Elizabeth Udy, and they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and celebrated 38 years together.
Harold graduated from Bear River High School in 1966. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard Reserve. He built a long and dedicated career, retiring as an Operations Supervisor of Large Casting Pits at Thiokol. He was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to those he worked with.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harold served faithfully in many callings, including temple ordinance worker, counselor in the Sunday School Presidency, and home teacher. His faith was an important guiding force in his life.
Harold found great joy in simple pleasures and time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed gardening in his yard, camping, and cheating at card games. He was also fond of his beloved dogs, Rascal and Gibbs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his children, Tyler Udy, Tina Velasquez, and Levi Williams.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Elizabeth Smith Udy; his children, Angie Anderson, Christian (Monika) Udy, Beau Udy, David (Kirsten) Udy, Tamera (Rich) Huddleston, Donna Busenbark, and Mark (Penny) Young. He also leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Harold will be remembered for his dedication to his family and faith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the 16th Ward Chapel, 145 W. 500 S., Brigham City, UT 84302. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church before the funeral service.
Interment will be at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery following the service.
