Pleasant View — Donald Brown, 83, of Pleasant View, Utah, passed away March 2, 2026. He was born in Mason City, Iowa. Don graduated from Mar-Mac High School and later the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Colonel. He thereafter moved to Utah and worked for T hiokol/ATK until 2004. He enjoyed coaching soccer, reading, studying history, hiking, and participating in church services and Bible study. Don is survived by his wife, Deanna; two sons and a daughter; and five grandchildren. An open house will be held Friday evening, March 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1105 N. Washington Blvd., with full military honors to follow.
