Sherman F. Olsen
Sherman F. Olsen passed away on March 8, 2026, just one day after celebrating his 93rd birthday. Born and raised in Franklin, Idaho, he built a life grounded in devotion, hard work, and family. On June 18, 1953, he married Rita Mae Olsen of Richmond, Utah, in the Logan Temple, beginning a loving 70 plus years partnership that blessed them with two children: Cless S. Olsen (Tereza) and Holly Hotchkiss (Robert). They lived and raised their family in Roy, Utah.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m., at the Municipal Park Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2200 W. 5900 S., Roy, Utah. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on March 21, 2026, at the Richmond, Utah City cemetery.
