Julie Johnson Berrett, 73, passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Heber City, Utah, Julie was devoted to her faith, family, and service. She was known for her strength, kindness, camping, playing the piano, and spending time with family. She also has a special place in her heart for Australia. Julie worked at Merrill Lynch, Sand Ridge Junior High, and spent 25 years at the Ogden Second District Court.

She married Ronald M. Silver in 1973; they later divorced. She raised her seven children as a single mother before marrying Val S. Berrett in 1991. Val preceded her in death, along with her son James, her parents Andrew and Glenna, her sister Glenda, and 1 grandson.

She is survived by her children: Heather Ashment; Tonya (Brian) Willoughby; Rachel (Ryan) Neil; Ron Silver; Ryan Silver; Rebecca Silver; and Kara (Ryan) Hill and 14 grandkids.

– Viewing: Friday, May 8, 2026, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ogden Myers Mortuary.

– Viewing: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church, 575 E 3100 N, North Ogden, UT 84414.

– Funeral service will follow at noon.

Graveside services will follow at Ben Lomond Cemetery.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
