Dayne Crandall Williams

May 15, 2026

Dayne Crandall Williams, 83, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dayne was born on May 16, 1942, in Mesa, Arizona, to Harold and Fern Williams. He was sealed to his eternal companion, Linda Clinger Williams, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1964.

Dayne was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and faithfully served his neighbors and community throughout his life. He was an extraordinary example of hard work, integrity, and kindness, and was the very definition of a good man. Dayne was also an excellent horseman, outdoorsman, and marksman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved supporting his children and grandchildren at their activities and ball games and cheering them on.

Dayne graduated from Payson High School, Dixie College, and Brigham Young University. Over the span of 32 years, he impacted countless lives as a dedicated wood shop teacher at Roy High School. He was a gifted carpenter and woodworker who took pride in building quality homes, and beautiful furniture and cabinets.

As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dayne served in many callings throughout his life. He especially loved mentoring and teaching youth during his many years serving as a Scoutmaster, for which he received the Silver Beaver Award. He served a mission in the Southern States Mission and later served with Linda as a senior couple in the Michigan Lansing Mission.

Dayne is now joyfully reunited with his beloved wife Linda, his parents, and his grandson Cameron.

He is survived by his sister, Myrna McKinnon, and his nine children: Tod (Esther), Andrea, Tim (Lynette), Trenton (Patricia), Travis (Holly), Theron (Melanie), Arlene (Matt), Alissa (Scott), and Amber (Kipp). He also leaves behind 32 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Dayne’s legacy of faith, hard work, service, and love for family will continue to bless all who knew him.

Condolences, memories, and pictures may be shared with the family on his Remember Page at www.myers-mortuary.com.
