Carol Kay Williamsen

May 26, 2026

We celebrate the vibrant life of Carol Kay Williamsen, born December 17, 1946, who passed away on May 21, 2026. A loving and dedicated resident of Marriott-Slaterville, Utah, Carol was a beacon of unwavering reliability and thoughtfulness in the lives of all who knew her. Carol’s life was a testament to service and dedication, qualities she demonstrated throughout her 31-year career at Fresenius Medical, and her active involvement in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She found joy and fulfillment in various church callings, spending time with her family, and forming lasting friendships within her ward.

Carol was a devotee of simple pleasures. She found solace in the tender care of her garden, the satisfaction of keeping a tidy home, and the joy of preparing meals that filled her home with warmth and love. She was a woman of tradition, cherishing her Thanksgiving and Christmas family parties, and delighting in the fun of Halloween and scary movies. Carol’s love for music was evident in her fondness for Michael Jackson, and she also loved getting her hair done. You could always count on her every Sunday in the fall rooting on her team the Denver Broncos. “Go Broncos” as Carol would say. We know Carol reuniting with her dog Katie was pure joy. Above all else, Carol’s heart was rooted in her family; their happiness and well-being was her greatest joy.

Carol is survived by her loving sons, Kelly (Lacie) Koford, Tony (Michelle) Koford, Chris (Jennie) Koford, and Rem Bielaczyc. Also, her eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Randy Compton. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Carver, and her parents, Glen Compton and June Ricketts.

Carol’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. Her favorite scripture was Joshua 1:9 ” Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
