Toots (Arthur) Fraga
9-19-1944 – 10-19-2026
With deep love, we announce the passing of Toots (Arthur) Fraga, a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and friend to many. Toots passed away on 10/19/26, peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family.
On 11/13/1965, he married the love of his life, Linda, in St. Mary’s Catholic church. They spent the last 61 years together and built a family, of five children.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Medina) Fraga, son Kenny (Rosie) Fraga, daughter Dina (Leandro) Romero, son Shane (Camille) Fraga and son Bryan (Cheltsey) Fraga, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Eulalia Fraga and his loving daughter Dawn Francis Fraga.
Toots enjoyed everything and anything that had to do with family. He was very fond of all his grandchildren/great grandchildren and enjoyed all their company. He loved attending Mexican dances and listening to Mexican music. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time camping at his property, driving his Bobcat and collecting various items. Toots had a heart of gold and helped anyone that was in need. He would never let anyone go without, no matter who it was. Toots was a husband, a dad, a grandpa, a son, a brother, and a friend. He was a jokester, a helper, and a man who loved everybody.
Toots taught his family the importance of values, respect and showed love through his actions and family traditions. Toots’ memory will always live on in the hearts of all those that loved him. There will never be enough time with someone you love, and we wish we had more. But we are grateful for the time we had, the memories we made, and the love he leaves behind.
In lieu of formal services, our dad wished for those who knew and loved him to come together to share memories, enjoy good food and drinks, and spend time dancing and laughing, all things he truly enjoyed.
At our dad’s request, and in honor of his memory, the family invites friends and loved ones to gather in a celebration on November 7, 2026, at the Eagles-975 Wall Ave., from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We invite friends and family to share photos and memories at https://myers-mortuary.com/obituaries/toots-arthur-fraga.
Our family will carry our dad’s memory forward through the lessons he taught, the countless stories he shared, and the immense love and kindness he gave so generously to everyone around him.
