Ray C. Korth
December 23, 1942 – October 4, 2026
Ray C. Korth, (84), passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, at the Brigham City Hospital in Brigham City, UT after a short battle with cancer.
Ray was born on December 23, 1942, in Brigham City, UT. He grew up on a farm north of town. His parents were Ray C. Korth and Angeline Musulas.
He married Judith Ann Marrone from Willard, UT in 1966 and they were married for 60 years. Ray and Judy have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They raised their family in Willard, UT.
Ray graduated from Box Elder High School and played on the football team where he scored the winning touchdown in the state championship game. Soon after high school, he joined the Air Force Reserves at Hill Air Force Base in Roy. He then started working for UDOT. He later worked for Gibbons and Reed as an estimator and the office manager. He made so many good friends there and was really good to all of his employees. He enjoyed golfing and hunting with the friends he made there. He was employed by them for 30 years and had many fond memories of his time with the company. Ray later went to work for Whitaker Construction.
Ray was a very kind, humble, and loving person. He was such a great guy. He loved his family so much and always enjoyed making new friends. He loved telling stories and enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard. Ray took a lot of pride in the things he did. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his earlier days. One of his favorite places to go fishing was Alaska.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Angeline Korth, sister; Carol West, grandson; Alex Korth, and his son; Zachary Korth.
He is survived by his wife; Judy, daughter; Noelle; his brothers; Richard and Gary Korth, and 3 grandchildren; Gage, Samuel and Alexis Korth.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Brigham City Hospital and Primrose Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Willard Cemetery, 470 N. Main St. Willard, UT. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
