Shirley Kaye Hilton, 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Syracuse Utah on Sunday August 30, 2026.

Our beautiful mother was born on May 6,1957 as the second of Identical twin daughters to Ralph Neil Hilton and Donna Mae Pedler Hilton at Nielson Memorial Hospital in Heber City Utah. After the family moved several times during her early years, they eventually settled in North Ogden, Utah, where she graduated from Weber High School in 1975.

On June 5, 1975, she married Eric “Rick” Campbell, they settled in Clearfield, UT and had three children together Christy Hansen (Brent) of Hooper, UT; Chad Campbell of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Ryan Campbell (Katie) of West Haven, UT. they were married for 18 years but later divorced.

She was blessed with nine wonderful grandchildren: Alyssa, Brandon, Levi, Rachel, Matthew, Jakob, Penelope, Whitney, as well as one great- grandson Lukas.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and her beloved Identical twin sister, Sheryl. She is survived by four brothers Gordon, David Sr., Neil Jr., Alan, her sister Rolayne, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Shirley dedicated 20 years of her life to the Department of Workforce Services. She had a passion for the work and loved serving the public. During those years, she made many dear friends, many of whom remained an important part of her life and whom she cherished until the end.

She was a devout Christian who loved her Savior, Jesus Christ with all her mind, heart and soul. Her faith was an important part of who she was. She enjoyed serving in the church as a greeter. She was always willing to share her testimony and faith in Jesus Christ.

She was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren. She also treasured all the moments she was able to spend with her nieces and nephews and their families. She was surrounded by great and wonderful friends, many of whom she had known since High School and who remained by her side throughout her life.

She found happiness in the little things. Sitting on her porch, talking with her neighbors, going for drives through the canyon in the fall to look at the changing leaves. The yellow leaves were her favorite. Despite her many struggles and difficult times, she always showed strength and resilience and did so with a smile and a positive attitude.

A viewing will be held on Thursday September 3, 2026, from 6-8pm at Lindquist Mortuary 869 S 2000 W Syracuse, UT 84075. On Friday September 4, 2026 from 9:30am-10:30 am a viewing will be held followed by the funeral services at 11am at Roy Christian Church 4347 S 1900 W Roy, UT 84067.
