“Jody” Josephine Budge Jackson, daughter to Josephine and Wallace, wife to Keith, sister to Charlene, Nanette, Don, Laurene, Thom, and Scott, aunt to 34 nieces and nephews, stepmother to Keith’s children, and teacher to hundreds of children, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, age 88 at her home in North Ogden, Utah. In her words, she was the “last of her siblings to go ‘home’ and she has looked forward to this “Heavenly Reunion”, especially with her love, Keith Jackson. Jody taught several years at North Ogden Elementary, and then moved to Antioch, California, where she taught another 41 years. Her testimony of the Savior and gospel was strong, and she loved serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite place to serve was in the Temple, in both Oakland, California and Ogden, Utah. She also loved serving as Relief Society President in California and made many friends there. She loved “her” Ben Lomond, her Schnauzer puppies, and her family. She was grateful for good friends who enriched her life. She loved reading, music, tatting many beautiful items which she shared with those she loved, and collecting lovely things. She is survived by nieces and nephews, step-children, and sisters- and brother-in-law who all loved her dearly.
