Mom,

The clouds parted as you peacefully left me on Sept. 11, 2026, sweet song birds escorted your spirit, oh so very high. Why did you have to go, couldn’t you have stayed? A very sad day has come, where I had to say goodbye.

I look to the night sky to see your reflection in the brightest star. Long will live your twinkle, your love, and the lessons you have taught. In a brief moment I get to hold you again, you are unforgettable; thank you for all the joy you have brought.

It is true, God had fun when He created you, such an angel. He blessed you with many talents, certainly one of a kind. He made you pretty, with dark blue eyes, and oh so funny, you are a happy soul that will always dwell in my mind.

Mom, you had no malice; you could not speak ill of anyone. Even when evil struck, you chose to rise above. For this, you are heaven’s best, and by the Lord’s side, your loved ones are now rejoicing, please, give them my love.

Let me hear your piano, let me hear your ukulele, let me hear you sing sweet Hawaiian songs, let me smell your heavenly cinnamon rolls, let me taste your caramel popcorn, let me hear your silver bracelets, let me find an eyelash, let me feel your warm hand, let me hear you laugh. You are so loved and already painfully missed.

May peace lay with you, and sleep warm.

Aloha and Adieu.
