Barbara Ence of Kaysville will celebrate her 90th birthday. Family and friends may attend an open house in her honor from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 at her home.?She was born on Sept. 28, 1919, in Sigurd to Floyd and Leda May Anderson. She married Harold Ence on April 12, 1941, in Richfield.?She was raised on a farm in Sigurd and is the oldest of eight children

After her marriage, she moved with her husband and settled Kaysville.?She worked for Sperry/Univac for 25 years. ?She now enjoys traveling, working in her yard, refinishing furniture and spending time with her ever-growing family.?Her children and their spouses are Marilyn and Max Simpson, Kathy and Glade Wiser, Randy Ence (deceased), Peggy and Wayne Brough, and Steve and Shirley Ence.?She has 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
