Albert J. Anderson celebrated his 97th birthday on April 4.?He was born on April 4, 1913, in Burch Creek, Weber County, to Adolph Benhart Anderson and Annie Marie Farrow. The youngest living child of eight children, he is also the last surviving child. He graduated from Weber High School in 1932.?He married Lois Bybee on June 11, 1942, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.?He worked as an aircraft technician at Hill Air Force Base for 32 years, retiring in 1974. He also worked at the Consolidated Aircraft Factory in San Diego for two years as a parts manufacturer. After his retirement, he worked at the Valley Nursery in Uintah for a few years.?He was an avid fisherman for many years and enjoyed fishing trips to the Bighole in Montana with friends, his sons, grandsons and son-in-law. He also enjoyed hunting in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. He enjoys reading and visiting with his great-grandchildren.?He spent several years developing their summer residence in Beaver Dam, Ariz.?His children and their spouses are Barbara and Tracy Carter, Larry Anderson, Curtis and Lori Anderson, and Clark and Pat Anderson. His son and grandson are deceased: Lyle Anderson and Matthew Anderson. He has 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.?
