Syracuse resident to celebrate 100 years

Edna Adriana Van Limburg Dalebout of Syracuse will be honored for the occasion of her 100th birthday. Family and friends may attend an open house from 2 to ?3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, at the home of her son David Dalebout, 1597 Troon Circle, Syracuse.?She was born to Arnoldus and Janna Schipper Van Limburg on Jan. 13, 1910, in Ogden. She married Sylvester Dalebout on Oct. 24, 1934, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple. He died on Dec. 20, 2008, at the age of 98 after celebrating their anniversary of 74 years.?Her children and their spouses are Dave and Karen Wakefield Dalebout, Denny and Jean McGregor Dalebout, and Mark and Dorothy Robinson Dalebout. Dallas and Carol Thompson Buckway also hold a special place within the family. She has 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.?She has been a homemaker, cook and hostess. She says she has enjoyed opening her home and heart to all who entered her home. She and her husband have lived in South Ogden since 1949 and have been active members of the 22nd, 28th, 38th and 6th wards of South Ogden. She recently moved to Syracuse.?A member of the LDS Church, she has served in many capacities.
