Dorothy B. Arave of Sunset celebrated her 80th birthday. A private party will be held in her honor in the spring to accommodate family.?She was born on Jan. 20, 1930, in West Weber to Charles L. and Edith Saunders Buck.?She married Kenneth C. Arave on May 27, 1947.?She is active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has held many positions, including her favorite — librarian.?She enjoys spending time with family, sewing, crocheting and reading.?Her children and their spouses are Kathy and Ralph Avis, Ilene and Dwight Carey, Len and Carol Arave, Tracy Arave, and Lynette and Dan Knighton.?She also has 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. ?
